Dyson, Kathleen 'Kat' - Lifetime Member

altIn 1992, Kathleen 'Kat' Dyson and her band Colour Kommentary hosted a spectacular Blues summit in Montreal. Featuring some of the greatest Blues legends, the evening culminated in an unforgettable final jam session with Buddy Guy, Johnnie Johnson, Mick Taylor and the late John Campbell. While in Montreal, Kat served also as a charter member of the world renowned Montreal Jubilation Gospel Choir and is a featured soloist on many of their albums.

Kat has toured the world as featured guitarist and vocalist with Warner Brothers recording artist Colin James. It was Colin James whose Bad Habits World Tour gave Kat the opportunity to play alongside such great artists as Mavis Staples, Jimmy Vaughn, B.B. Lafaille, Anne-Martine - Lifetime Member

Anne-Martine Lafaille was a member of the altMontreal Jubilation Gospel Choir from September 24, 2006 to July 1, 2010. During her stay she was not only a dedicated choir member, but also a gentle, compassionate leader. Always seeing the positive side of things, one day she was overheard as saying "I don't like bad news".

In June 2010 she and her family relocated out of Montreal making it impossible for her to continue as an active member.

We love, and will miss her warm smile, and quiet leadership and wish her the best of everything as she pursues her dreams and surrounds herself with new friends, colleagues, and a growing family.

altI was thrilled to be a member of the Montreal Jubilation Gospel Choir for almost ten years. When I first heard the choir sing, it was on one of their CDs. The song was Nkosi Sikelel iAfrika (the South African national anthem). It gave be goose bumps.

I decided then and there that I would become a member no matter what.

I AM NOW PROUD TO BE A CHOIR LIFETIME MEMBER. YES ... I DID IT!!!

Thank you Trevor for teaching and allowing us to be part of one of the most prestigious choirs in the world. It would not have ever happened without your perseverance and perfectionism during rehearsals and concerts. It was always a pleasure to be with the group and it will always be my second family. Merci à tous. Mimi
